John Grinder

Dr John Grinder is the co-creator of NLP and one of the greatest thinkers of our lifetime. He has authored 14 books on complex subjects ranging from transformational grammar, family therapy and his creation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

Those who have studied the patterns of NLP which were originally developed in the 70s you will recognize that John's wisdom flows throughout the early work. His work is documented in well over 1000 other educational books on subject matter ranging from specialist NLP matters, psychology, sales, negotiation, management, parenting and accelerated learning. Grinder’s work is also the subject matter of well over 1000 NLP public seminars each year, training people over 20,000 people each year around the globe hosted by specialist NLP Trainers. The majority of quality business seminars will now include aspects of John Grinder’s work, which equates to figure of tens of thousands of people learning implicitly from the genius of Grinder. That figure is growing every year.

Most relevantly to this project, John has devoted his life’s work towards his quest to uncover and present human patterns of excellence, modelled from geniuses in different fields. He created Neuro-Linguistic Programming with Richard Bandler, as a means to investigate and replicate extreme human excellence and in the 2001 publication "Whispering In The Wind", he and his partner Carmen presented a definitive model of the accelerated learning method - NLP Modelling - that was used to assimilate the skills that were the content of the initial NLP application patterns. John and Carmen continually explore new territories and update their work, introducing new models of excellence and vastly updated models of earlier work he co-created.

John is the authority on NLP Modelling, is more enthusiastic and congruent than anybody about drawing the attention of those interested to this powerful method of replicating excellent performance. It is an honour and a pleasure to have guidance through my learning process from him.

"For the past 30+ years, I have pursued techniques for the assimilation of the patterning of excellence in human performance in multiple disciplines, ranging from psychiatry, professional sports, strategic planning, turn-arounds, dance, drawing, formation and performance of teams, best medical practices... and as an incidental part of this pursuit, I co-created Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). There are two key activities in NLP: the modeling of genius and then once the patterns that makes the genius so superior in his, her or their performance have been extracted and coded, the application of those patterns to the concrete challenges and opportunities of life with the purpose of creating choice and high performances where there was previously no choice and something much less than high performance.

Arton Baleci has requested my participation in a unique challenge/adventure. Accompanied by a production team whose task it is to capture and document Arton's adventure - Arton has choosen to accept the challenge of being a top footballer playing in one of UEFA's elite football teams. Although Arton has never even played football at the semi-professional level and although he is 23 years old (old for the level of world class play he is aiming at), he has one year to succeed in becoming of the elite players of UEFA. How is this possible?, you ask.

Well, there is the challenge, supported by myself (John Grinder - co-creator of NLP and the New Code of NLP) and Carmen Bostic St Clair - co-creator of New Code NLP, a team of Feldenkrais experts and a host of other support personnel (physical conditioning, nutritional experts, etc) Arton will approach the top footballers in the world to convince them to allow him access to them during practice and games. Once access is secured, Arton will deploy the NLP modeling patterning to unconsciously assimilate (initally through imitation and subsequently through the development of his own unique style) and integrate the best patterns of play in this sport into a composite skill set that will allow him to succeed in becoming one of UEFA's elite players. No one of his age (24 by the end of his first year of modeling) and no one of his background (no experience in the professional or semi-professional levels of play) has ever succeeded in becoming a player at this elite level.

Will Arton succeed in this audacious adventure? The productions crew will document his adventures at each stage of his modeling to allow the world to witness this bold attempt. So impressed am I with the challenge and Arton's radical challenge, I have agreed to to support Arton's run at glory and the opportunity to demonstate the genius is replicable and transferable using the technology of modeling - even with a challenge as enormous as succeeding as an elite UEFA player. I am most enthusiasic about this adventure and invite you to support Arton as well."
