Leora Gaster
Leora, from a very young age, has been immersed in the development of Feldenkrais. Dr Feldenkrais and other influencial personalities for the field were regular presences throughout her early life, so it was very early on that Leora came to an appreciation and high skill level in the methods. Leora's teenage years were spent in Japan, where she was involved in Japanese theatre, the exploration and evolution of the field of Feldenkrais, and the acquisition of Judo skills that earned her a black belt with special commendations from the Kodokan - Japan's Judo University.
Her early experiences and the interest that she had developed in human potential drove her to become qualified as an NLP trainer, study with the legendary clinical hypnotist Milton Erickson and gain a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University.
Leora's mastery of Feldenkrais has led her to teach an exceptionally talented crop of practitioners worldwide. She is the Academic Programs Director of MBS Academy, is a major force behind the gold-standard scientific research on The Feldenkrais Method and the founding of the Mind Body Study Centre in Texas and continues to develop the highest quality courses and learning materials in the field today so that Dr Feldenkrais' work grows strongly into the future.
