Middlesbrough Futsal Club
Middlesbrough Futsal Club was founded in 2007 after the success of the University of Teesside, who became British University Champions 2006 and won various regional competitions. Middlesbrough finished second in the Northern Futsal Premier League in 2007. They now play in the FA Futsal League – the official national championship of indoor football (FUTSAL) in England – and the FA Futsal Cup.
They also compete regionally in the Tees Valley Futsal League and travel around Europe competing against some of the top professional teams. Middlesbrough have a heavy student influence due to their partnership with University of Teesside, where they have played their matches since they were founded in 2007 and they also form the bulk of the team who represent the University of Teesside in the national university championships – BUCS.
I have signed for Middlesbrough Futsal Club, one of the best futsal teams in the land, in the knowledge that this is a wonderful environment in which to develop my skills if and when I become good enough to be of service to them in their quest for silverware.
