Arton vs The Egg Chasers

The last few weeks have brought with them some fairly serious issues that I will talk about over the next few days. I must admit that at this point, I have probably dealt with most of these issues in far too serious a way. Regardless of the gravity of the situations, it's time to get playful again and tomorrow will be the perfect opportunity.

I will be joining a few of Nick's Smart Fitness clients - all aspiring rugby players - for a series of fitness tests. I think we'll be focusing on the assessment of speed, agility and power rather than endurance but only time will tell.

I love the guys, they all train avidly and put a hell of a lot of effort into their training which is more dense and frequent than mine at the moment. For some reason I am compelled to trash-talk them as part of the friendly banter between us (thanks for the nudges when I'm holding positions, Ralph) that seems to be driven completely by the football-rugby divide. Most football fans view rugby as an unskilled sport. Most rugby fans view football as soft. I don't know what I believe but I do know that acting as if I do believe makes for some quite entertaining banter.

Let me cut to the chase. I'm going to walk up to each of the rugby boys, shake their hands, greet them with a, "Nice to beat you", and show them a clean pair of heels.
