The Big Kahuna's Verdict
17 August 2009
Apologies for my lack of blogging. I'll fill you in on what's been going on at a later point.
Back to the story...
John listened to my description of my situation at the moment and demonstrated his understanding of the structure of the problem by relaying some stories that resonated particularly strongly with me. I had dreaded filling John in on what I'd been doing and not doing - I judged myself to have broken and agreement I had made with himself and Carmen before I'd began in November. I never like not delivering on my word and John does not suffer fools gladly.
Luckily for me, John went on to respond in a way very different to the way I would have responded in his position. He is thankfully far more evolved in his understanding of communication than I am.
The take home message of what John said to me was that there is no project until I resolve my current issue. He then went on to commit to supporting me in doing so. His support was set to take the form of a set of tasks that he would pass onto Daryll Scott, who I was due to be seeing during the following few days, to supervise me through. I agreed to do whatever tasks I was going to be provided with. Whatever it takes...
It was good to know that the big man was still behind me and TBA, or more accurately me getting TBA back on track. After saying farewell to John, I now began to grow very curious about what I'd let myself in for by agreeing to let Daryll terrorise me with what John had termed would be "an ordeal"...

Hi Arton, I've noticed that you haven't blogged for a while, we can only assume that there are problems going behind the scenes? I'm sure all regular readers will join me in hoping you get on track soon. You're an inspiration to many amateur footballers like myself, so I hope that this visa/residency problem is solved quickly. You were making such good progress until this point - keep your head up and focused on the goal and I'm sure you'll achieve it.

Dude, quit idolizing Dr. Grinder, you are embarrassing who you would be in his position. It is part of his work (and other people's) to understand how to help people, though, and I believe he does it well. Let us know how your ordeal goes. My guess is that the ordeal will be relaxing (with energy) and enjoying yourself, if you can shift your in-the-moment values enough to do it. you'll learn and have fun, even if it does hurt Daryll's feelings... go for it.
